Don't tell PETA

O.K., so what we didn't tell you yesterday is that there are NO DOGS ALLOWED in the Old Faithful Inn. We were desperate for a warm safe place to stay and there was NO WAY we could leave Sasha in the truck all night. The temperature was 27 degrees before the sun went down. So, we stuffed her in a backpack...and I do mean STUFFED...She absolutely did not want to get in that bag and clawed and squirmed her way out several times before we successfully got the thing zipped! All was well, until she had to go to the bathroom at 2AM...Patrick, my hero, saved the day!!!! He stuffed her into the bag, walked down three flights of stairs, across 2 parking lots, in the snow, in frigid temperatures, to let Sasha go potty...basically he's Bear Grylls...
